PROGRAMME OVERVIEW:

These sessions will be an opportunity for Deputy and Assistant Head teachers to network, collaborate and share best practice. The first half of each session will cover the areas below, and the remainder of the session will be responsive to current issues and the needs of delegates.

Delegates will have the opportunity to ‘dip in and out’ of sessions.

TIMES / THEMES / VENUE;

Session 1 commences on 14th November 2023 1pm – 4pm at Carlton Primary School, Fish Dam Lane, Carlton, S71 3HF. Please note dates will be confirmed shortly for the remaining sessions.

Session 1: Who am I as a Leader? Creating a vision and sense of purpose

Session 2: Leading a team, inspiring trust

Session 3: Leading and managing change

Session 4: How can I build resilience? From adversity to opportunity

Session 5: Coaching to develop and sustain leadership

All Sessions will run face to face at a variety of different schools across the borough.

COST / PLACES AVAILABLE:

The programme will be funded by The Barnsley Schools’ Alliance Board. There will be no charge to schools for
delegates to attend. Cancellation Policy applies.
