Building Your Future with the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

Our Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship is a 15 to 18 month programme. It is a high-quality, school-led programme designed to develop knowledgeable, skilled and confident practitioners who positively impact pupils’ learning and development. The apprenticeship uses a blended learning model, combining face-to-face sessions with in-school learning that directly links to the apprentice’s role. Throughout the programme, apprentices receive regular 1:1 tutor support to help build confidence and apply knowledge in practice.

This apprenticeship provides a structured pathway into the education workforce, supporting both new and experienced Teaching Assistants to strengthen their practice and build a successful career within schools.

The programme is fully funded, meaning there is no cost to the apprentice. For schools that contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy, the full cost of training can be covered through levy funding.

With over 13 years of experience working across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the education sector from multiple perspectives.

Tia is uniquely placed to support apprentices as she understands not only the role of a Teaching Assistant and the day-to-day responsibilities it involves, but also the expectations of teachers and the vital contribution Teaching Assistants make within the classroom. Her experience enables her to help apprentices develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to effectively support teaching and learning, build positive relationships with pupils and make a meaningful impact on educational outcomes.

Passionate about developing the next generation of education professionals, Tia is committed to helping apprentices succeed, achieve their career ambitions and recognise the many progression opportunities available within schools and the wider education sector.
