Nurture and Support

We pride ourselves on a holistic support for trainees. We foster a supportive environment amongst all of our cohorts.

It is our priority that you feel safe and nurtured to grow and develop. Your wellbeing matters to us.

Our taught training sessions will ensure that you will be fully equipped to enter the teaching profession. Topics that are most relevant to the current climate and needs of the local region are covered and you will have access to many learning resources.

We work with small cohorts of trainees therefore, training is tailored to meet the needs of individual trainees.

Excel

Over the last 4 years, 100% of Tykes TA trainees have passed the course graded as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. A large cohort of our trainees have also secured NQT positions before the end of the course. Many of which have advanced their career within the alliance taking leadership roles.

As a designated Teaching Alliance, we are committed to providing the highest standard of education for the young people within our community.
