Professional support staff in schools play an increasingly important role in supporting effective teaching and learning in and out of the classroom.
All members of a school’s workforce contribute to student standards of achievement therefore, we aim to make sure that support staff have the same opportunities as qualified teaching staff for professional development.
If you are a teaching assistant, supporting teaching and learning within the classroom, this programme is an excellent professional development opportunity for you. The programme will help you to prepare a portfolio of evidence to show you’re meeting these standards.
