Everyone Can Create is designed to ignite creativity for both teachers and pupils. The guides aim to develop opportunities for pupils to communicate ideas through photography, drawing, video and music. For teachers, they highlight ways to introduce creativity in fun and meaningful ways in any lesson, in any year group.
EVERYONE CAN CREATE PHOTO – 19TH NOVEMBER 2021 – 1.00PM – 3.30PM
Photos are a fun, powerful way for pupils to express their ideas visually and illustrate concepts they have learned. In this course, participants will learn how to use the camera and photos to capture everyday objects, use edit and markup to enhance photos with text and annotations to add extra information.
EVERYONE CAN CREATE DRAWING – 14TH JANUARY 2022 – 1.00PM – 3.30PM
Drawing is a great creative skill to bring into the classroom because, regardless of a person’s ability to draw, pupils can develop observation skills, visualise their ideas and express themselves. In this course, participants will learn how the sketch function makes it incredibly easy for pupils to explore drawing and experiment freely with different styles and how notes can help take drawing further by creating rich, colourful notes with added shapes and diagrams.
EVERYONE CAN CREATE VIDEO – 11TH MARCH 2022 – 1.00PM – 3.30PM
Video is a fun, exciting way for pupils to share what they’ve learned and express themselves creatively across the curriculum. In this session, participants will learn how Clips is the perfect introduction to video, enabling pupils to create videos with simple controls – no tracks or complex editing options. Also, how to add live titles, text labels and stickers to videos in Clips to make videos even more informative and creative.
EVERYONE CAN CREATE MUSIC – 27TH MAY 2022 – 1.00PM – 3.30PM
GarageBand gives students everything they need to create their own songs and high-quality podcasts so they can share what they know through music and sound. In this session, participants will learn how Podcasts gives pupils a chance to have a voice and share information with others.
